Black vinyl - limited edition of 600 copies Vinyl reissue. Originally released on the Gump label. Side 1 is sung in English and side 2 in Swedish. Includes a booklet with lots of previously unpublished photos and in-depth liner notes and interviews. - Johnny Mowinckel from Atlantic Ocean and the poet Einar Heckscher formed the band Telefon Paisa in 1970 together with guitarist Tommy Broman, bassist Labbe Bergström and drummer Dick Nettelbrandt. For a while, the guitarist Ingemar Böcker also participated, but was soon replaced by Hans Berggren on saxophone. This band became notorious for their unpredictable and not entirely sober performances.

reissue Long Hair – LHC 133 Gatefold sleeve. With 4 page insert in English and German + lyrics - Originally a psychedelic pop band, from the northern Rhineland, formed in early-1969, and soon taken under the wing of then fledgling producer/engineer Conny Plank. Aside from Conny's enthusiasm, it seems that Gomorrha were largely unnoticed at the time, and the band split up in 1973. Ali Claudi later embarked on a solo career.

Klimt reissue - Fairly "genuine sounding" roots-rock from early 1970's Japan, the attitude often reminds me of a loner take on Beggars' Banquet/Let It Bleed era Stones (roughly speaking), I'm surprised by how listenable this is actually is, having heard many 1970's japanese folk albums that sounded awfully stiff and "fake" and MOR. Features the guy from Rallizes Denudés (through his friendship with Masato Minami) on guitar and intense screamed vocals on one track - although this one bit isn't representative of the album, which is much more traditional and conservative in approach, but still really quite good. Decent sounding bootleg vinyl reissue on the french Klimt label.

original Australia - Wizard Records – ZL 204 - Mighty Kong were an Australian 'supergroup' successor to Daddy Cool (5), which broke up in August 1972. It was also the fifth (and technically the last) in the line of groups that featured singer-songwriter Ross Wilson (2) and guitarist Ross Hannaford, which began with The Pink Finks in 1965. Despite its all-star line-up, drawing from three of the top groups of the time, the band was short-lived and never really achieved its considerable potential, effectively relegated to being a footnote in the story of Daddy Cool.

UK press - CBS – S 64396 - gatefold cover - The J.J. Band (comprising musicians from the former Les Croque-morts and Les Babs Et Les Babettes) started out around 1966 as backing band for soul duo Jess & James, after whom they were named. The duo and their band became resident artists in Brussels club Les Cousins and ended up recording one album and a handful singles together. It was in this club that they were discovered by singer Jimmy Frey who invited them to perform on his eponymous album. In 1968 Jess & James and The J.J. Band went their own ways, with the band members wanting to play more jazz-rock and soul-jazz oriented music. They released two more albums, which didn't meet with the hoped for success. In 1971 they recruited singer Leslie Kent and changed their name to Plus, eventually recording one more album under that moniker.
